Ripped and Torn: 1976 - 79 The Loudest Punk Fanzine in the UK Paperback 2018

£27.50

Copies of this fanzine have now become difficult to find , especially #6 according to publisher Thurston Moore.  I did have a good stock but they sold ! Every issue is reproduced here, albeit in a slight smaller format. If you’re interest in Punk  this is excellent first hand information as it was reported at the time : primary resource material in academic terms.

Publishers blurb : Ripped and Torn was one of the first punk fanzines, and continued long after others like Sniffing Glue had stopped. Ripped and Torn began in in Glasgow in November 1976 and carried on into the next wave of punk. It ran for eighteen issues, all of which are faithfully reproduced in this book. By punks and for punks, Ripped and Torn is a fascinating document of the punk subculture and a sacred text of DIY culture.
