Almost too personal but – I was Corinne’s friend – then art director, having worked with her partner Mark Szaszy on numerous msuic videos : 1990-2000s. I worked with Corinne on dozens of shoots, including Vogue (Brtitish, Italia, USA, Nippon etc)….advertising for Hermes, Maxmara etc….Truth be told, Vogue for Corinne was a necessary evil. She wanted to escape fashion to be an art photographer – which the “industry” denied her . This book- addresses that and concentrates on her real interest – her friends. The title comes from the 13th Floor Elevators song …a band I introduced her whilst working on their biography. The cover title artwork is by Pablo Ferro : the man who designed the seminal title sequence for Stanley Kubrick’s masterpiece Dr Strangelove.
