Description
UK sheet music of Serge Gainsbourg’s song , originally written for and recorded with Bardot in 1967. Fearing it would make their affair with Gainsbourg too blatant – Bardot was married to Gunter Sachs – it went unissued. Birkin turned it into an international scandal and hit in ’69.
Since decimalisation was being introduced from 1968 this sheet music came in three variations : a pink border price 3/-, a red border with 20P. This has variation both prices
