Description
UK sheet music of Serge Gainsbourg’s song , originally written for and recorded with Bardot in 1967. Fearing it would make their affair with Gainsbourg too blatant – Bardot was married to Gunter Sachs – it went unissued. Birkin turned it into an international scandal and hit in ’69.
Sheet music came with a pink border price 3/- or red border price 20P. Since decimalisation was being introduced from 1968 , both considered “original”.
