Description
The book of the film. Klein’s 2nd celluloid outing Mr Freedom wasn’t as successful as his parody of the fashion industry Qui êtes-vous, Polly Maggoo ?
However, when it came to turning the project into a book it worked perfectly. Eric Losfeld’s was the perfect editor. He specialised in publishing risque adult graphic novels (many of which can be found on this website) – Barbarella (1964), Emmanuelle (1967) and The Adventures of Jodelle & Pravda by Guy Pellaert ( Diamond Dogs cover….) and Saga De Xam.
He was the perfect editor to transform stills from the film, by adding speech bubbles and turn the comic book aesthetic into a graphic novel.
Book Dimensions : 31cm x 24.5 x 1.7cm
