The Velvet Underground Held Held High/ Train Round the Bond (sic) French 45rpm & RSD reissue

£25.00£100.00

• An original 1971 French 45rpm + picture sleeve (with typo on cover) : Cotillion ‎– 650.216 L

Sleeve VG++/ EX- ? : Flat, clean, no significant ring-wear, no splits, no significant creases, no major flaws but just a little ‘used’- not perfect enough for the trophy hunter….  NO writing which is unusual for a French picture sleeve !  “Sans languette”
Record : EX- no scratches, minor sleeve removal scuffs only visible under strong lamp : Playback is excellent 7.5/10

• 2016 Ltd Edition yellow vinyl to celebrate the VU Extravaganza Exhibition in Paris : Sealed, assumed MINT.

I don’t not use generic record grading, all flaws : writing, spindle marks, scuffs, scratches will be noted.  All records have some form of static or background crackle !  But here is the gist …

Mint : Does exist unless sealed, even then might not be perfect.

NM : No sign of being played whatsoever ! No spindles marks on label !

EX+/EX/EX- : Only the very slightest signs of being played.  Nothing beyond a light sleeve removal mark/ Hairline – unless mentioned in listing. Any flaws noted.

VG++/ VG+/VG  :Still good enough for collector but all flaws listed.

Anything less would have to be super rare to  bother……
