Description
Actual cell used in the Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds. Although the song’s animation didn’t follow the song’s highly visual lyrics, it has been critically praised by animators as one of the most successful sequences in the movie.
Surprisingly the cell can easily be spotted in the song’s impressionist sequence.
The acetate cell and backing spacer paper measure approximately 40x32cm.
The painting of Lennon however is approx 6,x5cm, placed towards the centre of the cell.
