£550.00

Needless to say Dylan “comeback” following his alleged 1966 “crash” was seen as the 2nd coming of the messiah. For a more long winded post  CLICK HERE : Bob Dylan Isle of Wight Festival 1969 : 46 page Fan scrapbook

Also Search “Isle of Wight Festival” for more content.

On offer here : The original festival programme, a flier (purple front version/black on reverse) & unused tickets for both days of the two day festival.

• Programme : Condition : VG : A bit grumpy, with stains on few pages: see photos. However : This is one of few that managed to escape having the ” Bob Dylan insisted on using Fender Guitars & Amps supplied by Sound City” & Reslo makes sound sense” adverts torn out.

Mr Dylan objected and festival staff were tasked with tearing both offending pages out of the already printed programmes. While most surviving copies often retain  half torn out or loose pages, copies with both adverts intact have become extremely sort after, especially since    the ’69  festival’s significance  has caught the attention of US collectors and dealers. Complete copies on a well known “auction” platform after often offered for £600+….
