Description
An investigator from the War Crimes Commission travels to Connecticut to find an infamous Nazi.
While the film was a b&w B-movie, the poster is in glorious 1950s colour. The poster is part of a large stash of United Artists posters stored in the shop basement since 1967. It has never been displayed and beyond the odd edge nick and handling crease is in fantastic condition, Undisplayed : no significant tears, no pin holes, no significant creases, no fading – especially in the red !
Quad Poster (quadruple crown) measures 30 x 40 inches (approx 76cm x 101.5cm), They are usually landscape in design, opposed to US One sheets that are portrait. They were not for sale to the public and were distributed to cinemas for display – usually folded not rolled. They were supposed to be returned to the distributor, who destroyed them hence their rarity. Any in circulation were either given away to cinema goers after the film run or collected and sold on instead of being destroyed.
