For the 3rd IOW Festival the Fiery Creations went all out on their promotional merchandise : programmes, posters, match books, t-shirts, an “official” 45rpm by I Luv Wight (a.ka. Kaleidoscope)….branded sleeping bags…the list goes on.

On offer here a 3 pieces of original ephemera …The official festival programme, the handbill and unused tickets for 3 days. Not only is this event remembered the last of the great festivals, it also marked the final performances of the Doors with Jim Morrison and Jimi Hendrix in Britain. Also performing : The Who, Joni Mitchell, Sly & The Family Stone, Spirit, Leonard Cohen , Mile Davis, Procul Harum, Family.There was even an anarchic free festival featuring  Hawkwind and The Pink Fairies outside the official festival enclosure in an inflatable dome -that deflated. That was before the fences collapsed and the official festival became “free”….to those attending but not working….hence so many books of unsold tickets appearing on the market.
