This lot consists of 5 copies of Rolling Stone magazine # 95, 96, (1971 ) 115, 117, (1972) 155 (1974) & 1977 -(10th Anniversary special edition).
All are UK printings. All are complete = no clipping, no missing pages.
#95 &96 = the first publication /appearance of his classic Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas – prior to publication by RS as a stand alone novel.

Most of the articles are accompanied by illustrations by Ralph Steadman, and there’s nothing quite like seeing/ reading the actual articles as published – to fully appreciate the collaboration. Not to forget all the other good content – like the Bowie full page for Heroes, Dr John etc….
Condition : Overall a “B’ Collection. RS was notoriously badly collated – resulting in many dog-earred and torn corners – and that was when they were new. These have all been pressed and refolded. Most open tears have been closed with acid free tissue. See photos to get an impression of age toning and wear. # 95 has a loss across a few pages at the central fold /edge – see photos (Fear & Loathing). 96 lights water stains – hence the price.
