Newport Folk Festival July 22-25, 1965  – 64 Pages –  illustrated throughout; performers  Joan Baez, Donovan, Maybelle Carter, Peter, Paul & Mary, Mississippi John Hurt, Lightnin’  Hopkins etc .

ON Sunday night, July 25, Dylan took the stage with guitarist Mike Bloomfield and Barry Goldberg of the Paul Butterfield Blues Band and gave his first ever  performance with an electric guitar, the implications of which have employed music journalists  for over half a century……Not only is there the show listing and blurb about Dylan but he contributes a rare written piece Off The Top of My Head. Enough to say pop-culture ephemera doesn’t come more culturally significant than this programme.

At the time of posting , there the only other programme offered for sale online was a very grubby copy on ebay for $3000.00+ . Also the tri-fold handbill priced at £2000.00 and £1700.00.
