Description
Original tour programme sold on the UK leg of Dylan famous, or should that read infamous 1965-66 “electric” tour. Dylan first ‘plugged-in” and performed using an electric guitar for the 2nd set of his appearance at the Newport Folk Festival 25th July 1965. Music journalists have had careers ever since. Incidentally the programmes were printed by Kenneth Pitt : Bowie’s manage at the time. On the last page they mention that Dylan’s book Tarantula will be published with a UK edition following next year. Obviously was shelved and was eventually published in 1971 after bootleg editions started appearing, printed by the underground press from 1970.
