Original ephemera from Warhol’s infamous stage production of Pork at the Roundhouse, Chalk Farm, London.
“Mature Adults Only!” Cast includes Wayne County as Vulva, Cherry Vanilla as Pork and Leee Black Childers as assistant director. Bowie’s recruited both Childers and Vanilla to his Mainman productions after seeing the show.
The programme carries the famous 1967 byline “In future everybody will be famous for fifteen minutes” from the Moderna Museet in Sweden.
While the programme turns up occasionally the flier never does, I’ve only handled one previously…. I used get asked if there was a poster, which presumably there must have been….but I’ve never had one.
Condition : Flier VG++ 14cm x 21.5cm : Handling creases ( finger creases) no significant creases or folds. No rips or tears. One minor spot on back -see photo
Condition : Programme EX+ 17cm x 23cm 20 pages including wraps. Black and White production throughout by Leee Black Childers.
