Description
Two examples of the infamous poster – from a photo taken by Robert Davidson of Zappa on the loo in his hotel room at the Royal Garden Hotel London i.n 1967. What probably seemed like a harmless idea for publicity stun later became a frustration when the image adorned every headshop – and Zappa demanded the negatives back. The photo session was supposed to be a publicity shoot for the Mothers first British.concert at the Royal Albert Hall on 23rd September, 1967. The psychedelic border was added by Des Dale.

To my knowledge there was only one printing of the Osiris poster but elsewhere online it is stated that there was an early Osiris run with credits © LOON-1967 PHOTOGRAPH: BOBBY DAVIDSON but no one has an example for sale..
