The Scotch of St James was amongst the top Swinging London clubs in the sixties ….. Situated in Mason’s Yard where William Burroughs lived,  photographer Gered Mankowitz had his studio (Hendrix, Stones Yardbirds etc) and The Indica Gallery and Bookshop was originally located.  On his first night in London Jimi Hendrix famously performed with the house band on 24th September 1966 and then showcased the Experience on 25th October 1966 at the tiny club (150 capacity). A favourite of the Beatles and Stones etc….Ephemera of any kind from the club is scarce…..

Condition : Excellent complete/ unused. Approx 14cm x7.5cm – light storage, handling wear no significant flaws.
