1907 : Handwritten letter with illustration/sketch by famous cat illustrator Louis Wain inquiring about price list
for ‘ “electros”. Unclear whether this refers to electric motors or electro photgraphic printing.
After an accident Wain’s cat illustrations got famously more abstract and he believed that they emitted electric currents – which he tried to illustrate – examples show below but not included.
This comes with an unrelated , unused period postcard with a Wain illustration.
