Jimi Hendrix poster for his final performance 6th September 1970 at the Open Air Love & Peace Festival Insel Fehmarn, Germany

£550.00

1970, the year of festivals. Having played his final show on British soil at the Isle of wight Festival on 30th August, a week later he appeared Open Air Love & Peace Festival Insel Fehmarn, Germany, for what turned out to be his final gig.

Due to bad weather- see the silent Super 8 footage below, which includes Hendrix – some bands didn’t even perform.

In 2005 Hendrix LLC officially released a recording of the show on CD on it’s  Dolly Dagger imprint. While it’s quite forlorn recording, from two microphones hung from the stage…but well worth hearing. Buy /Listen here > https://www.jimihendrix.com/music/live-isle-fehmarn/

This the official poster. measuring Approx 28.5cm x 81cm

This is the brown version, I’ve had a blue one previous, also the sticker decal ( as seen on the Dolly Dagger CD). Condition : Poster Near Fine, no pin holes, no tears.

2nd poster, which appears to parody festivals in general, police waiting in bushes etc….This doesn’t mention Hendrix but is a unusual  piece of ephemera relating to Hendrix’s final live performance. See photos, creased and stained. SOLD
