Description
Needless to say Dylan’s “comeback” following his alleged 1966 motorcycle crash was seen as the 2nd coming of the messiah.
This is one of the very few copies to escape with both the “Bob Dylan insisted on using Fender Guitars & Amps supplied by Sound City” & “Reslo makes sound sense” adverts in tact.
Upon his arrival at the festival Mr Dylan objected to them and festival staff were tasked with tearing out the offending pages . While most surviving copies retain half torn or loose pages, copies with both adverts present have become extremely sort after, especially since the Isle of Wight Festivals’ significance has caught the attention of US collectors and dealers. Complete copies offered on a well known “auction” platforms for £600+
