Dr Who 1970/71 Jon Pertwee Annual

£375.00

This first Pertwee annual was sold at Christmas 1970 – for the year 1971 and is referred by collectors to as 1970, or 1971 or the Pink annual.

With these early DR Who annuals prices reach a premium in relation to the condition – collectors want NO  gift inscriptions,  NO scribble, NO puzzles filled in (in pencil – then rubbed out or heaven forbid BIRO !).  Also annuals were prone to being price clipped – which often happened immediately after the Christmas period, when they were heavily discounted. Also annuals printed by World Distributors were prone to splitting along the spines – especially at the top or bottom – or both.  See individual descriptions  for any faults – or lack of them !
