Description
This novel, 1st published in 1970 in the US, caused something of a stir for exposing an otherwise undocumented gay underground scene. Set in NYC, a cop investigates a serial killer who murders gay men as they cruise for sex. As the investigation progresses the cop questions his own heterosexuality. The novel was adapted into a film ten year later starring Al Pacino.
