Carnaby St Pamphlet, pub by I was Lord Kitchener’s Valet. This was the shop where, shortly after arriving in London, Hendrix bought his cobbler, including his famous Fusilier’s jacket.The first shop was opened by Ian Fisk, John Paul and later Robert Orbach in 1965 at 293 at the top of the Portobello Road market. More followed on Wardour street, then off Carnaby St on Foubert’s Place with two more on Carnaby Street itself and later Picadilly Circus and The King’s Road.Moving away from it’s original ex-military stock , the chain churned out Swinging London merchandise, ashtrays, aprons, poster, tea tins etc….
14cm x 18.5cm, 20 pages, including covers, stapled pamphlet .Condition : Essentially new, Unused but with minor storage wear.
