1964 film adaption of Lerner & Loewe’s 1956 hit stage musical based on George Bernard Shaw’s 1913 play Pygmalion.
Although Rex Harrison reprised his role as Henry Higgins from the stage production, Julie Andrews was replaced in the lead role by Audrey Hepburn. Although Hepburn performed all the songs during filming, her voice was ultimately replaced by Warner Brothers who dubbed her with Marni Nixon.
