13th Floor Elevators Wait For My Love/ May the Circle Remain Unbroken RSD

£15.00

This was as an advance release for the Music of the Sphere’s LP box set I was preparing.

Limited edition of  1000 copies worldwide on green vinyl -exclusive to Record Store Day 2011.

Wait For My Love was supposed to be the Elevators 6th single in 1968 -from the forth coming 3rd LP. However, Stacy Sutherland panicked at the thought of having one of his songs selected as the A-side. Instead May the Circle Remain Unbroken was switched to the A-side, with an old cover of Buddy Holly’s I’m Gonna Love You Too from 1966 as the B-side.

Inspired by a couple of later International Artists’ releases , this was issued on on green vinyl.  The sleeve was supposed to be a generic (thin paper brown sleeve) as used at the time. However, due to the joys of modern record …or should I say “vinyl” production,  a card sleeve was printed brown – and they forgot to die cut a centre hole  so  the label  could be seen.

Remastered with added ‘Spacemen 3’ Sonic vibrations by Mr Kember.  However this is rough recording – not from a multi-track master- For the box set everything was mastered straight, no messing around. , With this and the Red Crayola 45rpm ….

NEW, MINT
