Description
Condition : 4 psychedelic portraits are all Excellent : All Undisplayed : no pin holes, no tape residue, no nicks or tears- no fading colours. These were either order from the Daily Express newspaper and sent out rolled in a tube or bought from John Menzies newsagents – again sold in a tube. The ends of the posters curl up – but if framed they will display fine. . There is minor evidence of handling which can be seen better from the backs- shown in the gallery- but no actual creases.
The 4 portrait posters measure 27″ x 18.5″ – 68.5cm x 47cm
Banner measures 40″ x 14.5″ – 101.5 cm x 37cm
The Long monochrome banner is VG+ : For some inexplicable reason this always turns up in slightly worse condition than the 4 portraits. The UK banner is genuinely scarce – unlike the USA or German posters.
Condition : Pin Holes in near each corner. One small nick by Lennon – see gallery and creasing/ rubbing on McCartney end.
