A quintessential Swinging London artefact. An extremely scarce and elusive title , that epitomises the Swinging Sixties aesthetic.  Pocket size guide, approx 12 x18.5cm

Barry Fantoni was a Private cartoonist from 1963 , a TV writer (TW3) and the host of A Whole Scene Going in in 1966, when this book was published. His designs also graced the entrance of Hendrix’s favourite London club the Speakeasy….he even made couple of singles – one with the Kinks… RIP 20th May 2025.

Only one edition : paperback by the Stanmore Press – 1966
82 pages, with numerous in B&W illustrations by Fantoni, text by  Karl Dallas documents the swinging clubs, boutiques and sounds of the city…

Condition : VG++ No significant flaws, no creases to the wraps, just one minor nick in the front wrap and light  reading crease to spine. A book that has aged well, try finding  another copy, let alone a cleaner one ….
