~Sorry, we were hoping to offer more original Sex Pistols posters for sale in this catalogue but we’ve not been able to keep them in stock for long… However we do have this gem, arguably one of THE RAREST, Sex Pistols non-gig, promotional posters from 1977.
Essentially just a B&W image of the Queen. No safety pins, no swastika eyes.
This came directly from the Virgin offices in Notting Hill, from the collection of Roy Carr, journalist of the day. It was supposedly intended for use on the front of buses to promote the contentious new 45rpm that was heading for #1.
Unused and undistributed, it’s now amongst the hardest to find Sex Pistols posters. Supposedly, Jamie Reid didn’t want this used.
