Original unused Virgin Records 1977 promo postcard featuring Jamie Reid’s withdrawn artwork.
In true situationist style the smiling couple depicted in the artwork were lifted from a Belgium tourist board leaflet and reappropriated for the 7″ single cover and promotional material.
While it was too late to withdrawn the cover, the posters and everything else was withdrawn and replaced with a b&w beach shot.
Condition : VG+ Light thumb crease in back and indentation on front – no significant flaws
