London Palladium : Will Hay & Co , Toto the clown, 17th February 1930.

A London Palladium window card circa 1930s. The other notable performer is Toto the clown (Antonio de Curtis : 1898 -1967) , the Italian  “the Prince of laughter”, who was many his first UK appearance. The BBC broadcast a  royal command  bill, attended by the king, on 22nd May which included most of these performers with the addition of  Max Wall. The printers,  Tribe Bros 20 Stamford Road N1 , Dalston, has along with all the local music halls been torn down.
