Description
According to Danny Fields, who hired Linda Eastman as a photographer on numerous occasions for various publications he worked for during the sixties, he suggested she publish this book. His recollection was that Paul was fed up with John Lennon promoting his artist wife Yoko Ono, so the McCartney’s decided to redress the balance with a volume of Lind’s work.
In the USA the book was published by Alfred A Knopf in 1976 in hardback and later paperback.
In Britain it was published by Jonathan Cape (although early copies often had the US dustjacket with a Jonathan Cape sticker wit the UK price on the inside flap).
148 pages Approx 32.5 cm x 22.5cm- colour and B&W plates.
