Interesting ephemeral time capsule from the peak of Liverpool’s Mersey Beat era 1963-1964
1. Programme for Brian Epstein Presents Gerry’s Christmas Cracker ( running almost simultaneously with the Beatles show at the Hammersmith Odeon in London. The show ran from 26th December 1964 to 1st January at Liverpool’s Odeon Theatre and then toured to the Odeons in Leeds and Glasgow.
Condition: Well handled but still well preserved, minor 1cm split on wraps but no significant creases or tears. Light stain on some internal pages- see photos. Signed pages include : Danny Williams aka “Britain’s Johnny Mathis”.

There appear to be partial impressions of other signatures that could relate to another of Epstein’s popular Liverpool acts – Indentations on the front can be made out as “Paul” and on the reverse “…ennon” but I might be wrong.
