From 1967 to 1970 Ken & Margaret Blunt were employed by Lennon as his & Yoko’s personal assistants. During the turmoil of moving from Kenwood, to Montagu Square and eventually to Tittenhurst Park, many of their possessions were placed into storage. When Lennon asked the Blunts to clear the storage units, he gave them several records and other items.
This LP comes from a collection of records that first came up for auction in 1995. We have more but haven’t had time to list them all – yet.
By way of authentication this comes with a COPY of the 1969 memo on Apple Headed paper supplied as proof of employment by Lennon and a copy of the 1995 signed letter by Ken & Margaret Blunt stating these record were part of Lennon’s private record collection.
