Description
An original Stereo U.S 1st pressing with the classic Karl Ferris infra-red photography on the front cover – which Hendrix approved of – since it was a visual reflection of his music (opposed to the somewhat drab – in comparison – British cover shot by Bruce Fleming). The British press was only issued in mono (later reprocessed stereo). Typically the track listing of U.S edition differs from the British edition – adding the classic single Purple Haze as the 1st track.
