This set of Beatles autographs were brought into the shop in the early 1980s. The back story was that the seller was having dinner at a restaurant in Piccadilly sometime in 1964 when Brian Epstein sat down with all four Beatles on the next table. “Richard” asked Brian if the Beatles would sign his napkin, clearly George Harrison did the honours and signed for all four Beatles in his own hand. An interesting period piece from the height of Beatlemania.
One of the few benefits of running a ‘bricks and mortar’ shop was that I’d get a lot of autograph appraisers (for the auction houses), dealers and hunters passing by…so, I’d run signatures by them until I’d reached a consensus. Sold with a full money back guarantee.
Condition : as seen in photos : Once again : George Harrison has signed ALL 4 SIGNATURES. Great way of getting George’s signature which seems to sell of around £1500 on it’s own.
